Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers is a countywide, nonprofit, community program that unites the public, the media and the police in the fight against crime. The program offers anonymity and cash rewards of up to $1,000.00 to citizens who furnish information leading to the arrest of felony crime offenders, Anonymity overcomes fear of involvement. Cash overcomes apathy.

Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.
